The advertising campaign launched by the Dairy Council has exceeded all expectations in its first year and added 38 million litres of milk to the market. The advertisements for milk have appeared on prime time television and radio periods since the campaign started in June 2000. The posters have also appeared on East Enders, and on Big Brother the white stuff branded bottles were used. Promotional stunts like Mr Ovens jumping off Bognor Pier dressed in a white stuff branded spitfire outfit as part of the Birdman of Bognor festival have also helped to boost the campaign's profile and raised money for charity. Posters in farmers' fields, on tankers and point of sale branded packaging have continued to support the campaign.
