Anglia announce new appointments to management team

Andrew Pockson and David Potts have joined the Senior Management Team at the UK’s leading independent distributor, Anglia. Andrew Pockson has been promoted to Divisional Marketing Manager with responsibility for wireless and semiconductor products while David Potts also assumes the role of Divisional Marketing Manager supporting display and semiconductor franchises.

Commenting, Steve Rawlins, CEO of Anglia, said, “These appointments show Anglia’s continued investment in our people, suppliers and customers by strengthening and enhancing our Senior Management Team. Andrew and David bring considerable industry and engineering experience and expertise to the team.”

Pockson has over 15 years of distribution experience, with Anglia and DT Electronics, in technical and marketing support roles. Previous positions have included Technical Marketing Manager and Field Applications Engineer gaining extensive knowledge and experience using passive, e-mech and semiconductor products.

Potts, a Computer Engineering Graduate, joined Anglia in January 2007. Previous industry experience includes positions as Development Engineer and Technical Team Leader with the EMS Group Ltd Potts has extensive experience and knowledge designing and developing microcontroller-based systems.

Divisional Marketing Managers, Potts and Pockson will report to John Bowman, Semiconductor Marketing Director.
