Watlow appoints Eiichiro Hoshino as general manager, Watlow Japan

Watlow has appointed Eiichiro Hoshino to the position of general manager of the company's operations in Japan. Hoshino will report to Peter Desloge, President and CEO and will be responsible for the overall leadership and support of Watlow's Japanese facilities and employees.

Hoshino has 23 years of experience in plant design, project management, quality control systems and computer programming, as well as sales, marketing, customer services, field service and factory operations. Prior to joining Watlow, he worked at GE International, the world's largest electric company dealing in power plants, aircraft engines, household appliances and engineering plastics. Hoshino's professional experience also includes Coherent Japan Inc., Lutron Asuka Ltd. and Nihon Michelin of France.

Hoshino received a Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering from Tokai University in Japan, and possesses a variety of technical licenses and patents. He and his family currently resides in Japan and has relocated closer to Watlow's office in Tokyo.
