DEK-J2002 from PESL – thick film printing – the new generation

Keyword: Thick film printing

DEK-J2002 is a 'next generation' thick film printing development now offered by Production Equipment Sales Ltd. (see Plate 2).

Plate 2 DEK-J2002 offers a maximum print area of 305 x 305 mm and a cycle speed of 8 sec with accuracy of better that ±20 micron

The basic intention behind the design of the DEK-J2002 was to create a printer with a larger printing area for MLCC/MLCI, Solar Cell Wafer, and Steel-based substrates.

All major assemblies feature very strong and rigid construction to aid accurate operation; for example to locate the head in position and lock them, V blocks and screw balls are used, one of the most precise methods known. Stepper motors provide accurate positional settings, in very small increments. All movements such as screen gap, screen setting (X/Y/Z), print pressure, as well as printing speed, and flood bar speed, are fully motorised and no movement or machine adjustment is carried out manually.

DEK-J2002 offers a maximum print area of 305 x 305mm and a cycle speed of 8 sec with accuracy of better than ±20micron. Options now include various sizes of screen frame adaptor, through hole print, CCD manual vision and custom work holders.
