Osprey controlled expansion alloys (Osprey CE alloys) – new Web site

Osprey controlled expansion alloys (Osprey CE alloys) – new Web siteKeywords: Alloys, Osprey

Osprey has recently re-designed its Web site for its patented range of controlled expansion (7-17ppm/C), high thermal conductivity, high specific stiffiness, lightweight Si/Al alloys. The Web site now includes detailed data on material properties, design guidelines, machining parameters, plating instructions, frequently asked questions and stocks of CE7, 9, 11, 13 and 17 alloys. These CE alloys are currently being evaluated and/or used for a wide range of applications in the thermal management and electronic packaging fields, e.g. carrier plates for alumina boards and GaAs chips, carrier plates for polymeric PCBs, opto-electronic connector housings, microwave and RF packages, base plates for power devices, etc. For further information see: www.ospreymetals.co.uk or contact: Alan Leatham or Andrew Ogilvy on: spray.form@ospreymetals.co.uk
