ESI establishes Technical Support Centre in Europe for customers

Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. has announced the opening of a European Technical Support Centre in Crawley, UK to provide additional engineering support for customers using ESI's electronics manufacturing equipment throughout Europe.

ESI's freephone call centre gives customers convenient access to support specialists 18 hours a day Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. CET to address technical issues across ESI's entire product range. Customers can also use the centre to order parts, schedule on-site visits or to receive training or preventive maintenance information.

"We're expanding accessibility for ESI customers with this centre and adding a level of convenience not currently offered by our competitors", said Graham Fields, European service manager. "The centre is a one-stop shop for all service related facilities. Besides immediate technical assistance with a particular application, customers will be able to use this one number for all of their routine maintenance needs or questions". Customers can reach the call centre at +800 6000 3000. The centre will be based at ESI's office in UK, with incoming calls from German and French-speaking countries being seamlessly rerouted to the appropriate contact using state-of-the-art identification software. Other software also allows centre specialists to log and track all regional service events and look for additional ways to support customers.
