IMAPS Russia plans technical, organizational workshop
An organizational workshop for IMAPS Russia is scheduled for 3-5 June 2001, in Zelenograd, Moscow 103498, at the Moscow Institute of Electronics Technology (MIET). The workshop is open to interested members of the international microelectronics industry community, and is sponsored by IMAPS, the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society. The goal of the workshop is to set up a collaboration network between the new IMAPS Russia chapter and existing IMAPS chapters in Europe and the USA.
The workshop will consist of a technical program, IMAPS and business development roundtable discussions, and a social program. The technical program, on 4 and 5 June will cover topics that include SCM & MCM assembly technologies, MEMS devices and technology, Simulation and testing, and more. Speakers will be representative of the Russian, USA, and European electronics industries.
