Mintech have now completed a new product agreement with the power semiconductor manufacturer International Rectifier (Plate 1).

This European-wide agreement now enables Mintech to carry the complete range of International Rectifier's power semiconductors die. The original agreement was extended with the addition of the high power products in the input and output range.

Orlando Volpe, European High Power product marketing manager for International Rectifier, said of the agreement, "Our high power business unit needed a focused die distributor in Europe. I'm extremely confident that we have chosen the best partner because of the Mintech pedigree and the number of successful years of distributing the rest of International Rectifier's products. The interests of the customers are the first thought prior to entering into any agreement and Mintech impressed me with their focus on both quality and service".

Mintech are the sole distributor for Die High Power business and now have a pan-european agreement for all International Rectifier's die product range.

"Our customers are the top accounts in the die business and demand a service and quality which we strive to surpass. The addition of High Power die to our existing IR product range gives Mintech a unique position and further extends the value added capability that we offer our customers".
