Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. has appointed Patricia "Pam" A. Mattimore president of Air Products Electronic Chemicals (APEC), a business group of the company's electronics division based in Carlsbad, California.

As president of APEC, Mattimore has responsibility for ongoing development of the company's global electronic chemicals business. This includes continued growth of Air Products' Schumacher business unit which became a part of the APEC organization in 1998. Mattimore will lead APEC's development through the organization's direct investments and business alliances, including its relationship with Honeywell to supply the global semiconductor industry with electronic process chemicals.
