Lonny Plummer has been appointed as new executive vice-president sales and marketing worldwide (Plate 2). Over the past 20 years, Mr Plummer has been active in the international semiconductor industry. He has worked for Alphasem previously as representative for the Eastern USA (Forestville Technology Inc., Forest Grove, PA). Forestville will continue to represent Alphasem products and services in the Eastern USA.
Heinz Ritzmann has been promoted to executive vice president R&D at Alphasem's headquarters. He received his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich/Switzerland and joined Alphasem as product manager in 1996.
