Ray Cronin to lead Everett Charles Technologies semiconductor test group

Naming an industry veteran and former ECT manager to oversee expanding business activities in its semiconductor markets, Everett Charles Technologies (ECT), has appointed Raymond P. Cronin as corporate vice president, semiconductor test group, a newly created position. Mr Cronin rejoins Everett Charles Technologies from Teradyne, where he headed initial engineering, marketing, and applications for Kinetrix, Inc. an automated component-handling venture.

Ray Cronin was previously employed at ECT as director of strategic marketing in the Test Equipment Division, until departing in early 1998 for Teradyne's Kinetrix business. In addition to his work at ECT, Mr Cronin acquired a comprehensive background in electrical test in prior positions with Megatest and Circuitest. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
