Describes the application of Maxwell's six dimensions of quality (effectiveness, acceptability, efficiency, accessibility, equity and relevance) in a SWOT analysis by the UK Harrogate Health Care Trust training service (HHCT). Examines the quality approach offered by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA); highlights the models focus on six aspects of provision, and reports on the integration of Maxwell's dimensions with the QAA educational components in an effort to increase analytical robustness. Features an action plan to implement a quality improvement program using the Maxwell/SWOT enhanced QAA model for the HHCT training service covering issues relating to governance, experiences and achievements.
