A message circulated to members of the American Society for Cybernetics quoted a report by Pille Bunnell, chair of the societys nominations committee, on the elections that concluded on 1 June. The outcome was that all votes were cast in favour of all the candidates, and there were no objections. Accordingly, the following officers were elected, or re-elected, or confirmed in their posts, for three years with effect from 1 January 2012:
