Collaboration between the Cybernetics Society and WOSC

As readers will have undoubtedly noticed from the new cover of this journal both the Cybernetics Society and the WOSC have selected Kybernetes as their official journal and both organisational logos appear on the redesigned title cover.

Peer-reviewed contributions from both organisations will be published as well, of course, as our selected regular ones. During the last year, a number of important events have been organised that feature both groups and also members of the editorial team of Kybernetes. Photographs of the events are included here.

In Figure 1, Dr Alex M. Andrew receives the Emerald Literati Award at the Cybernetics Society Annual Conference. Figure 2 shows Dr Andrew receiving the Norbert Wiener Memorial Gold Medal of WOSC at the conference venue in London University’s King’s College. Figure 3 shows the meeting of the President of WOSC and his wife with the President of the Cybernetics Society at the post-conference dinner.
