WOSC Congress – 2008
Discussions are still in progress concerning the arrangements for the next triennial congress of WOSC. The WOSC Directorate headed by the President Professor Robert Vallée and the Director-General Dr Alex M. Andrew are currently discussing the choice of venue and the programme with organisations that have invited WOSC and who wish to host this prestigious event. It is hoped that details will be available by the Autum 2006 and they will be included in this, the official journal of WOSC
2006-2007 conferences and seminars
WOSC is being represented at a number of the major conferences and seminars held worldwide during 2006/2007. In many instances, WOSC is a co-sponsor. Participation by the federated bodies that are members of the organisation in meetings, conferences, congresses and other significant events continues to grow. Papers presented at these, events and often the whole proceedings are published in this journal. Contributors to such events should contact the Directorate about their participation. Papers presented can, when refereed and with copyright clearance, be considered for publication in Kybernetes.
WOSC – Norbert Wiener Institute of Systems and Cybernetics
The Institute's link with Kybernetes means that contributions from authors who are associated with the federated bodies that are members of WOSC are particularly welcome. The dialogue between the authors of contributed papers and the institute has been particularly fruitful and to the benefit of researchers.
