Earlier research in wireless networks and mobile computing has concentrated on single hop networks, where nodes communicate directly with a fixed infrastructure, such as a cellular or satellite systems. More recently interest in multi-hop networks, such as mobile ad hoc networks and sensor networks, has stimulated a significant amount of scientific research.
This conference focuses on multi-hop ad hoc and sensor networks systems, covering topics ranging from physical issues to applications.
