The aim of this modest work is to show how the Adomian decomposition method and the Alienor reducing transformation can be combined to solve optimal control problems. We are especially interested in optimal drug posology in cancer chemotherapy. The cost functional to be minimized expresses the drug concentration needed in the neighbourhood of a tumour and the optimal time to reach this concentration, so that the practitioner can have an observable therapeutic effect.
