This year's Southern Manufacturing Show broke all records and was bigger than ever, with 350 exhibitors attracting over 3500 visitors and re-bookings for 2003 now stand at an all time high. Reports by exhibitors of many high quality enquiries being taken over the 2 hectic days indicate a recovery may be underway within the manufacturing sector.
Exhibition Director, Steve Crowther reports "The record 16 per cent increase in attendance at last month's Southern Manufacturing Show, clearly demontrates that the presentation of a comprehensive, regionalised, annual forum for industry buyers, means ever increasing numbers of visitors are now more than happy to source locally for a wide range of engineering products and services.
