T A K I S (world association for cybernetics, computer science and system theory) was founded in 1983 in Namur (Be) as a branch of International Association for Cybernetics (AIC) after the death its founder Prof. Dr. Ing. George R. Boulanger. These associations built a tradition of world congresses for cybernetics – AIC traditionally in Namur, TAKIS in different european countries. After the discontinuation of AIC, its function and aims were taken over by TAKIS.
For this reason the congress in 2002 will continue the former tradition and will unite the 16th congress of AIC with the 7th congress of TAKIS.
The Conference on Cybernetics, organized by TAKIS, will provide an opportunity to present the results of your scientific and pedagogical work in the following fields:

Congress fee (including congress materials and magazine) is 70 EUR, 30 EUR for members of AIS, TAKIS, UNI-SK and students.
