50th Anniversary of the publication of Wiener's Cybernetics in Russia
The Kybernetes editorial board has received an e-mail from Professor Vadim L. Stefanuk, academician, Institute for Information Transmission Problems of Russian Academy of Science, and Vice -Chairman of the Council of the Russian Association for Artificial Intelligence, outlining plans to mark the 50th anniversary of the publication in Russia of Wiener's Cybernetics.
Readers will wish to know that an event has been planned by the Russian Association for AI and the Politechnic Museum of Moscow for the occasion. It is scheduled to be a two-day open public scientific session to be held in Moscow.
