This research study entitled “A 30 Year Review of Management Pioneer Contributors” is being conducted to replicate a study completed by Dr. Daniel Wren and Dr. Robert Hay in 1977. Their study answered the call from the Academy to identify persons who had made an “outstanding contribution to American business and management thought and practice” between 1777 and 1977. With Dr. Wren’s consent, this study is intended to update that list and identify from a more global perspective any new names of management pioneers who need to be added. The intent is to publish the knowledge gained through this project to recognize individual contributors to our field post 1977.

There are no expected risks from your participation. except the mild frustration with the time associated with answering the questions. West Virginia’s IRB acknowledgement is on file.
