ABB is a well known robotics and robotics software manufacturer and this is a fantastic web site for viewing their products. Lots of videos, images and CAD files are available easily and helpfully classified into different industries, e.g. arc welding, assembly and picking. Details of training and other services are all easy to find on this well laid out site. Well worth a visit.

This US based site is the web site of the Robotics Industries Association (RIA) has lots going on in it; you can sign up for an e-news letter, find suppliers and read many articles on robotics. The online store has conference proceedings, statistics and other robotic related publications. There is a forum on which to post questions and an employment area to view jobs and post your details on. The beginners guide contains articles for those starting up within the robotics industry. You can even download a safety video. Overall this is a comprehensive easy to use site.
The web site of the IEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) contains thorough information on the RAS and its activities. Details of membership, awards, technical committees, calendar of events and call for papers for future publications are available to all. This is a useful site to look at if you are involved in the robotics and automation industry.
