ABB I-R, the world's leading supplier of robotised waterjet cutting systems, has announced the delivery of the company's 400th complete system to Stankiewicz GmbH, the manufacturer of noise reduction components based at Celle in Germany. The new Cutting Box Original IV waterjet cutting system from ABB I-R, the company's, best selling model, has been installed at the Stankiewicz plant at Grobbendonk in Belgium (Plate 1).

The new ABB I-R system at Brobbendonk is cutting sound insulation components for a leading German car company. Owned by the German industrial group, Phoenix AG, Stankiewicz GmbH has operations in five countries and has been purchasing ABB I-R waterjet cutting systems for a number of years. The Brobbendonk system is the second delivered this year, following on from a new ABB I-R system for Stankiewicz's plant in the USA.
