High flex life cable features expanded PTFE jacket

High flex life cable features expanded PTFE jacketKeyword: Cables

A new high flex life cable for use in systems and equipment where constant flexing over a small bend radius for over 50 million cycles is critical is being introduced by Montrose/CDT of Auburn, Massachusetts, USA (see Plate 4).

InfiniFlexx™ High Flex Life Cable features multiple pods, with multiple wire components per pod, in an expanded PTFE jacket that is designed to provide over 50 million cycles of flexing with a tight 5.1 cm bend radius. Custom fabricated with coax, twisted pairs, power conductors, and other components, this highly flexible cable has a low coefficient of friction.

Plate 4 InfiniFlexx™ High Flex Cable

Quieter and more slippery in cable tracks than other types of jacketed multi-component automation cables, InfiniFlexx™ High Flex Life Cable is available in hybrid constructions ranging from 6.35 mm to 10.16 cm wide. Applications include automation, robotics, and surface mount equipment, linear drive motors, vision inspection systems, and medical equipment.

InfiniFlexx™ High Flex Life Cable is priced according to construction, size, and quantity. Literature, samples and price quotations are available upon request.
