In April, Motoman, Inc. completed a 70,000 sq. ft. facility expansion at its state-of-the-art headquarters in West Carrollton, Ohio. In less than ten years, Motoman has grown from its original 40,000 sq. ft. site to the current 182,000 sq. ft. building (see Plate 2).

Also in this ten-year period, Motoman built a just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing facility in Troy, Ohio; added an additional warehouse; opened regional support centers in Auburn Hills (Detroit), Michigan, Chicago, Illinois, Cypress (LA), California, Phoenix, Arizona; established international offices in Ontario, Canada, Aguascalientes, Mexico, and Sao Paulo, Brazil; and grown from 60 employees to near 500.
The expansion increases Motoman's manufacturing floorspace and office space, and adds new standard and custom demonstration areas, a new clean room assembly area, a new meeting complex, and additional visitor accommodations.
