Kusuda International has been formed to provide sales, marketing and engineering consulting services for overseas companies interested in establishing or solidifying a presence in the automation market in Japan and other Asian countries.

Mr Yoshihiro Kusuda, principal partner of Kusuda International, has over 30 years of engineering, marketing, sales and academic experience in the field of factory automation, robotics and mechatronics on a worldwide basis. According to Automation magazine, he is recognized as "the number one expert in industrial automation".

Mr Kusuda is currently corporate advisor of Yaskawa Electric Corporation and lecturer at the Graduate School of Information Engineering Department, Kyushu, Institute of Technology. He also serves as associate editor of the Industrial Robot journal and is a member of the Program Committee for the 1988 IEEE Conference on Robotics and Automation.

Significant past experiences make Mr Kusuda a valuable resource in exploring international markets. As president of Yaskawa & Company, he ran a company responsible over 40,000 robot installations. As general manager of Yaskawa Electric Corporation's Robotics division, he was responsible for the development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and system integration operations of the company. Under his leadership, the Motoman business has become one of the top three robotics companies in the world.
