Pakistan grows too slowly

According to details submitted by the Ministry of Finance to the Pakistan National Assembly, the reason that GDP growth rate during recent financial years has remained at a low level is on account of a decline in capacity utilisation and capital efficiency of the economy. This decline can be attributed to energy shortfalls, low productivity and security concerns.
