Bahrain is on board
The Bahrain Centre for Studies and Research (BCSR) is carrying out a stuffy into the productivity of both manufacturing and service sectors. It is doing this in co-operation with other international, regional and local institutes, hoping to underpin and spread a culture of productivity in Bahrain.
“Gross Domestic Product and its growth is related to labour productivity, which is also linked to improvements in efficiency, cost saving, the ability to compete and to deliver better services in terms of quality and quantity,” said BCSR board of trustees chairman Dr Mohammed Al Ghatam.
“BCSR is keen to contribute to this important field, which is of benefit to the economic sectors in Bahrain by undertaking research on productivity measurement and improvement.”
