Costing the Earth
The Earth Policy Institute (www.earth-policy.org/) suggests that there is ample, and obvious evidence to show that there is an enormous potential for raising energy productivity. Really simple … just compare energy usage across countries. Some nations in Europe have essentially the same living standard as the USA yet use scarcely half as much energy per person. QED!
