New Zealand dips
For 2006 and 2007, New Zealand faces a slowdown in its growth trajectory, which is expected to plateau for a short while at around 1.6 percent. This might be regarded as a healthy growth rate but it is set in the context of a situation where most of New Zealand’s trading partners are forecasting growth rates of nearer 3 percent. It looks as though they will forfeit some of the gains made in recent years in terms of OECD relativity.
