Iran excellence

Its not often we hear productivity news from Iran but at a recent conference on Productivity and Organizational Excellence it was stated that “the industries and mines sectors act as the pivotal point for boosting people’s living standards and well being”.

Iran is hoping that by gradually eliminating tariffs and government subsidies they can pave the way towards joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Alongside this they recognise the need to renovate sections of industry, implement industrial development strategies, and monitor and assess productivity and efficiency.

They have created a National Award for Efficiency and Organizational Excellence to act as an incentive for organizations to review and improve their own performance.
