Open office

Arenson Group, the manufacturer of President Office Furniture and Roneo Systems Furniture, has won a contract with Bradford and Bingley Surveyors to furnish its National Survey Centre with the Roneo branded “r” range of office furniture.

Arenson Group, working with dealership Eastlake Group of Manchester, refurbished BBG Surveyor’s key hub office based in Lockington, Derby. It supplied a mix of 35 Roneo “r” range desks and pedestals, together with partition screens and side opening tambour storage units throughout the 10,000-square-foot office. BBG Surveyors wanted its offices refurbished for three reasons.

First, it needed to redesign its operations so that its telephone staff, administrative team, and IT department worked in the main office. Previously, its IT staff worked in an adjacent building, but as the computer server was situated in the main building, it made sense to relocate the IT team.

Second, it wanted to enhance the working environment for its staff by creating an open, communication-friendly environment.

Finally, it wanted to keep staff in the same location rather than incurring costs by moving employees elsewhere.

The installation was completed quickly and efficiently – disruption was minimal, and everything was done within ten working days from the point of order. The refurbishment has enhanced morale and enabled BBG employees to communicate more easily and work more effectively.
