200 words
I know of a head of a major organisation who writes 200 words each day for the homepage of their Web site. Not 199 or 201 words – but 200 words exactly. These are his (for it is a man) reflections on the previous day. He claims that it forces him to reflect, to take stock of what he and the organisation are doing, and to discipline himself both to do it and to do it precisely. Not a bad set of motivators.
