Rockwell Automation, an industrial automation solutions company, has chosen software solutions company Clicktools, to help identify the skill levels and development needs for its sales staff throughout EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

Clicktool's software solution presents staff with an on-line "talent inventory" and the results will be fed to Rockwell's sales training partner to help develop training over an eight-week period. David Jackson, director of Clicktools, explained how the software would help Rockwell staff develop their customer relationships. "Our software solution is designed to harness the perception and’performance of touch points with customers throughout an organisation. The toolkit provides a platform for a range of performance-orientated measurements".

Georges Michel, director of human resources at Rockwell, said that the solution was easy to use and provided instant results, and also added that it may be employed to look at skill requirements in other parts of the business.
