The Institute for Enterprise Education (IEE) - Canada
The Institute for Enterprise Education (IEE) CanadaReview date: 20 January 1998
This review takes a brief tour of the data available on the IEE Web site.
Accessing the site is very straightforward by simply using the site URL namely; http://vaxxine.com/iee
Once at the site you are met with the usual menu options all of which can be easily selected used clickable hypertext.
The contents of these pages include:
The Institute for Enterprise Education
The Centre for Entreplexity
Enterprise Education Programme: Kindergarten to Grade 12
Enterprise Education : In-service training
Teacher Internship Program
Teacher Training in Entrepreneurship
In addition to information on the programmes run by the Institute the site also has hot links to such as Scottish Enterprise and to such as Strategis - An official Canadian Government site of information and statistics on business that is well worth a browse. Strategis can be located directly simply by using the URL: http://strategis.ic.gc.ca
Strategis includes company information, international business opportunities, technology licensing information, micro-economic statistics and analysis, business support services and so on.
In all, the site is reasonable in terms of giving an insight into entrepreneurship education in Canada and has links to other useful sites. It also gives visitors the ability to compare and contrast programme in Canada with those available elsewhere in particular through use of the Scottish Enterprise link.
