International Journal of Accounting and Information Management
Article Type: Call for papers From: International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, Volume 19, Issue 3
Recent global economic growth has caused tremendous pressure in the demand for accounting, finance and information systems professionals in all areas. In reaction, universities and colleges have all rushed to offer courses in accounting, finance, and information systems as well as allied programs. Research activities in accounting, information systems, and information management are also growing at a very rapid pace.
Despite this rapid growth, academics and practitioners interested in these areas are still left with very few forums to exchange ideas which are specifically related to an international context. The International Journal of Accounting and Information Management (IJAIM), a premier refereed journal published by Emerald Group Publishing Limited, with its first issue published in 1992, is designed to fill this gap. Its primary objective is to stimulate research in accounting, finance, information systems, information management and related problems of significance to both private and public enterprises, and special emphases are placed on the interaction between these areas in an international context. The journal purports to bridge the knowledge gaps between researchers and practitioners who are conducting research in the interdisciplinary areas of accounting, finance, information systems and information management. The IJAIM is published four times a year.
The IJAIM is published by Emerald Group Publishing Limited, indexed in Scopus, and is under the editorship of Distinguished Professor Lee J. Yao of Loyola University New Orleans, USA. Accounting, finance, information systems and information management researchers as well as professionals in allied areas are invited to submit research papers for the IJAIM. All papers are subject to a double-blind refereeing process by an ad hoc selection of reviewers and a member of the Editorial Board.
Submissions to the IJAIM are made using the ScholarOne Manuscripts submission system at: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ijaim
For full details on how to use the system and submit your paper to the IJAIM, please see the author guidelines at: www.emeraldinsight.com/products/journals/author_guidelines.htm?id=ijaim
