International Journal of Accounting and Information Management signs deal with Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies

Emerald Group Publishing’s International Journal of Accounting and Information Management (IJAIM) has signed an historic agreement with the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (AES) in Romania to become the institution’s international partner journal.
The agreement has come about following successful collaboration between IJAIM and the AES conference in June 2008 (AMIS Conference), and will allow both parties to promote each others’ research to different audiences around the world.
Further collaboration will include sharing of article abstracts between IJAIM and the AES’ Journal of Accounting and Management Information Systems (JAMIS), developing closer networks with the two journals, an invitation for an Emerald representative to present at the annual AMIS conference and mutual invitation for a IJAIM and JAMIS representative to join each other’s editorial board. As such, Professor Lee J. Yao of IJAIM has effectively become a board member of JAMIS and Professor Pavel Nastase of AES has effectively become a board member of IJAIM. Furthermore, IJAIM gains the preferential right to select a number of papers submitted to the annual AMIS conference for potential publication in the journal.
