Mortgage lender trains managers of tomorrow
Article Type: Notes and news From: Industrial and Commercial Training, Volume 43, Issue 3
Specialist lender CHL Mortgages is offering employees the chance to undertake the National Skills Academy for Financial Services leadership and management programme, which leads to an internationally-recognized qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
The programme offers skill development for employees new to a supervisory or management role or aspiring to such a role. It is also suitable for more experienced staff who would benefit from more formal management training.
Bob Young, managing director at CHL Mortgages, commented: “We are hoping that a significant number of our staff will look to gain the qualification over the coming months. Even in these trying economic times, we do not underestimate the need for our staff to have a structured training and professional-development path to follow. Developing the skills of our staff is vitally important if we are to not just hold on to our staff, but also ensure we meet the changing demands of the financial-services industry.”
