Discusses how leaders can adapt their leadership styles now that their organizations are coming out of recession, arguing that they need to take advantage of the lessons learned from the experience weathering the economic crisis to develop a leadership style that will enable the organization to be rebuilt. Advises that leaders should evaluate their leadership; create a trusting environment within their organizations that will encourage employees to contribute their opinions to the recovery process; create a team of senior managers who can help them lead the organization; and develop processes that enable their leadership team to collaborate effectively. Illustrates this by describing how this has been done in some US organizations. ISSN: 1535-7740 Reference: 40AL588
