Purpose – Describes how a UK company (LHF) provides complementary therapies as part of its health benefits package. Design/methodology/approach – Describes the health plan offered by LHF, itself a health plan provider. Insets give the views of the company’s member services director and an employee of the value of the health plan. Findings – Argues that the inclusion of complementary therapies in the health plan offers employees a benefit that they want and increases their engagement and loyalty to the company.
