Reflex wins prestigious Business Equipment Excellence Award

Reflex, the Reading-based audiovisual service provider, has had its recent work with British Airways and Sharp recognised at the highest level with the presentation of a Business Equipment Excellence Award. Reflex came top in the Mission Critical Partnership category.

The Business Equipment Excellence Awards are presented by the business journal Business Equipment Digest and are in their ninth year. It is, however, the second year of the Mission Critical Partnership category – which highlights the importance of the partnership approach.

"We are absolutely delighted that our work with British Airways and, of course, Sharp has been recognised in this way," says Andy Brymer, managing director at Reflex. "We formed a true partnership with these two companies – which still continues today – and it is gratifying that all our hard work and commitment have been acknowledged in the marketplace."

Reflex's work for British Airways involved equipping over 100 of the company's training rooms across the UK – in what was Reflex's largest project to date.

The majority of projectors used in the British Airways training rooms come from Sharp – a company with which Reflex has built up a very close working relationship over the years. In fact, Sharp recently presented Reflex with its "best installation of the year" award in recognition of the work it has done with British Airways.

Reflex now has a dedicated engineer based at British Airways' Waterside headquarters, providing immediate front-line support when required. "We handle our account with British Airways like a true partnership," says Brymer. "If there is a problem we tackle it together like a team."
