CIBSE guidance for minimising the risk of Legionnaires' Disease

Keyword: Health and safety

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) has released a newly-revised guide, TM13: Minimising the Risk of Legionnaires' Disease.

The information and guidance contained in the CIBSE manual supplement the HSE's to ensure that facilities managers, engineers and construction professionals have all the facts they need to minimise the risk of these bacteria colonising in their systems. The HSE's Approved Code of Practice outlines the importance of risk assessments and explains how to implement them. CIBSE's TM13: Minimising the Risk of Legionnaires' Disease goes into much greater practical detail regarding controlling the risk as well as documenting recently revised governmental regulations.
