NT Security, specialist in electronic access control systems, has won the prestigious Medway Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award in recognition of its outstanding growth record.

The second largest Chamber of Commerce in the country, Medway selected NT Security, along with many other businesses across all categories, to compete for a prize of £1,000, certificate of achievement and commemorative plaque.

All businesses were scrutinised by a panel of experienced judges who examined each entrant's area of operation, market and product knowledge, investment in staff training, trading record and plans for future growth. NT Security was then short-listed from a final 40 entrants before being announced as overall winner.

Andy Purvis, chairman of NT Security, said: "We are very pleased to have won this award as it not only gives recognition of our technical expertise and quality products, but also to the outstanding levels of customer service our sales staff and engineers provide.

"It is thanks to the efforts of our staff that NT Security has been so successful, growing 50 per cent year on year, and that is why we will be investing the prize cheque in further staff training to ensure that we remain the number one name for quality and service, whatever our customers' electronic security needs."
