Safety and Quality Go Together

Abstract
Considers the importance of a commitment to zero accidents in quality companies, with particular reference to Health and Safety implementation in Dairy Crest warehouses. Examines the benefits of safety, proper erection of equipment, supervision and training, secure stacking, customer safety and safe systems of work. Surmises that while the Health and Safety Inspectorate will concentrate on more dangerous industries, the responsibility is on service industries to ensure zero accidents.
