Contract Manufacturing Can Solve Your Skills Shortage

Abstract

Three workable strategies are proposed for companies where production is dependent on skilled labour: lowering standards for new recruits; retraining; retraining a core workforce and making strategic use of contract manufacturers. The benefits of the third strategy are discussed.
