Electro‐Magnetic Compatibility: The problem of the future that needs solving today

Abstract

With the swift and almost universal emergence of electronic controls and equipment pervading all industry, a subject that has come very much to the fore over recent months is electro‐magnetic compatibility, or EMC as it has come to be called. It has been the subject of intensive study covering not only industrial and commercial spheres but also (and quite as important as the other two) the domestic field as well.
