FLOW PRODUCTION

Abstract

THE need for mechanical handling, materials handling, mechanization, work study and time and motion study is still apparent in many industries. All these systems and methods are very necessary in themselves, but useless by themselves. It must be realised that to apply any of these systems, there must first be a clear appreciation of what exactly the overall system is intended to achieve and what is its objective.
