A HISTORY OF MILLING

Abstract
Once man was a hunter, finding food where he could amongst the animals and wild plants of his savage and violent world. Then he took perhaps the most evolutionary step of all — he took control of his environment — catching and taming some of the animals he hunted, and collecting and growing the seeds of the wild plants he liked to eat.
