Abstract

In Holland, the touristic and economic significance of events is being recognized more and more, both by tourism governmental authorities (the Ministry of Economic Affairs, for example) and tourism agencies (VVV's), as well as the tourism industry (such as camping‐grounds and theme parks). The following comments are relevant to this subject.
