Tourism: Stepchild of the transportation industry? Suggestions for a transportation policy to serve the needs of tourism

Abstract

The Board of Trustees and the Advisory Committee of the International Tourism‐Exchange ITB had invited for the first time the AIEST to organize the 2nd day of the 12th Convention ITB (March 9th 1978 at Berlin). We publish in this number the introduction and two of the reports presented at this meeting.
